Thoughts today from my studio ---PAINT, LIGHT AND SILENCE... that is what happens in my studio. The hours blend away, time softens.
This is a new oil painting inspired by color, nature and evolving forms. Instead of "this area is magenta because it's a flower, the color exists for temperature, rhythm, memory and balance". I try to keep a recognizable anchor while abstracting playfully with edges. The movement of the petals almost feel like floating ribbons or fabric. I like that.
