In every house I’ve lived in, I’ve always managed to carve out a tiny nook dedicated for creativity. My daughters are the same.
Some spaces were bigger than others, one was a warm 3’ space beside a furnace, others were larger. Now I have a studio built into our house… all year heat, white walls, large windows, good lighting! I love it! I thank my husband for his creative building ideas.
My space is peaceful but inspiring! After a crazy year, I am just now beginning to invite people to come for a visit.
This west coast tree painting is titled “There’s Something Special Being Among Trees”. It is a large painting 36”x60”, oil on exhibition board. It is in my studio.
Most of the time, I’m on my own in my studio, but sometimes
our Aussie Shepherd/ Border Collie joins me for company.
